Accents International conducts accent reduction and accent comprehension training programs.

Powerful Pronunciation® is a 10-session accent reduction program that teaches non-native English speakers how to pronounce the sounds in English that do not occur in other languages. This enables program participants to convey their expertise with clarity, confidence, and ease. Most important, learners maintain their unique cultural identity. Powerful Pronunciation® is not an ESL program; it’s for professionals who speak English as a second language and wish to take their pronunciation to the next level. Private and group classes are available and conducted via remote learning. Programs are customized to the specific needs of the participants. Assessments are performed pre- and post-program to measure the number of articulation errors. The average rate of improvement is greater than 70% after ten hours of instruction. Each participant receives personalized instruction and continuous guided feedback. Participants speak with greater accuracy and impact. They experience a surge in confidence as they’re no longer asked to repeat themselves. They also receive a site-license to Accents International’s proprietary online learning library. This site license never expires.

Inclusive Listening: Tuning Your Ear to Accents® is an accent comprehension webinar that teaches employees from all language backgrounds how to quickly ‘tune their ear’ to unfamiliar accents. This two-hour interactive session removes the need to ask someone “What? What did you say? Can you repeat that please?” The results include more productive cross-cultural communication, less accent bias, greater partnership with people of diverse language backgrounds, and increased confidence when communicating with speakers of other languages.
