The Word Applied, Inc.

The Word Applied, Inc. is a 20+ year, woman-owned, black-led, consulting company that works to provide strategic planning, community engagement & assessment, Six Sigma process improvement, organizational development, human-centered design, project management and capacity building services for a variety of entities including educational institutions, government agencies, corporations, for profit, non-profit, and foundations.

The company is led by its Founder, Linda Garrett-Johnson, who is a Community Engagement Strategist with a broad background including consulting, facilitation and training expertise that she brings to every project she undertakes.  The Word Applied, Inc. uses a team of specialized, skilled subcontractors that are brought on, and managed, as needed on projects.

The Word Applied, Inc. is an external partner for the MN Management Analysis and Development (MAD) department, a certified DBE member through the State of Minnesota, and is also a certified member of the Minnesota Small Business Procurement Program and is a TG/ED/VO vendor.
